THE SALTY FOX LLC- CUSTOMER AGREEMENT & TERMS of SERVICE
By purchasing from The Salty Fox, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Product Representation:
Product listings include, to the best of our knowledge, accurate descriptions of the coral's size, color, species, and care requirements.
2. Limitation of Liability & Acclimation Responsibility:

Proper acclimation is the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend researching the specific needs of each coral species. The Salty Fox is not responsible for loss due to improper acclimation, incompatible tank conditions, or tank mates.
We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of livestock, property damage, or personal injury resulting from:

Inadequate or improper tank conditions;

Negligent acclimation or handling practices;

Incompatibility with existing livestock;

Use of our products contrary to recommended practices.
All corals should be introduced into aquariums only after appropriate quarantine procedures and environmental testing. The Customer assumes all responsibility for compatibility and tank readiness.3. Live Arrival Guarantee:
We take great care in packing your corals for safe delivery. Our Live Arrival Guarantee is subject to the following conditions:

Customer must be available to receive and open the package immediately upon first delivery attempt.

Any issues must be reported within 2 hours of delivery time with clear photos of the coral in the sealed bag.

Failure to comply with these conditions voids the guarantee.
Store credit may be issued at our discretion; we do not offer refunds.4. Shipping & Risk:
We ship via trusted overnight carriers, but once your order leaves our hands, delays due to carrier error or weather are out of our control. We are not held responsible for shipping delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier, unless covered under our Live Arrival Guarantee as outlined above. Hold-for-pickup is recommended during extreme temperatures.
5. Return & Cancellation Policy:
Due to the sensitive and perishable nature of live corals, we do not accept returns. All sales of livestock are final once an order has shipped. Customers may request order cancellation prior to shipment, subject to a restocking fee at our discretion.
6. DOA Claims:
Dead-on-arrival (DOA) claims must be submitted within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos. Do not discard the coral without instructions. Store credit is issued for DOA claims meeting these terms.

Discounts cannot be combined unless stated. Promo codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retroactively.
8. Customer Acknowledgements & Waivers:
A. The Salty Fox LCC disclaims all liability for injuries (including allergic reactions, infections, or envenomation) sustained during handling or introduction of coral specimens into aquaria. Customer expressly acknowledges the importance of proper handling procedures, including but not limited to:
• The proper use of personal protective equipment (i.e. gloves, mask, goggles) when handling livestock.
B. By purchasing coral from The Salty Fox LLC, Customer assumes full risk and responsibility for:

The health and stability of their aquarium system;

Compatibility with existing aquatic life;

The outcome of introducing new organisms into said system.
C. Customer waives any and all claims against The Salty Fox LLC arising from the foregoing.
9. Indemnification:
Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Salty Fox LLC, its officers, agents, employees, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:

Improper use of our products;

Breach of this Agreement;

Violation of any applicable law or regulation
10. Agreement:
By placing an order, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms. The Salty Fox reserves the right to update these policies at any time.
